I encountered a mechanical problem with my Ideal Nymph Reel and the malfunctioning part was replaced free of charge. I’m back to action with a great reel.

Quick service received in 3 days

One of the best reels out there. Needed a spare spool for a dry line, but ever since i switched over to this reel, im not looking back at anything else.

What a great fly rod and great customer service. Excellent communication. Can’t recommend Diamond Back enough!

Aeroflex Freshwater Reel

This is a solid euro nymphing reel. It is super smooth. It never tangles and the line never escapes the cage. you can have a ton of line out and when reeling in it will not tangle. it balances the DMB 10'10" 2wt extremely well. i will buy another.

The Ideal Nymph Reel is the finest reel I’ve ever owned! I love it!

Just picked up an Aeroflex 9/10 saltwater fly reel, and was very pleased with its looks, feel. The reel is a beauty to look at, and I’m a big fan of how easy it is to palm the drag when, and if you need to slow a fish down. The reel was nicely balanced with the Aeroflex 10 wt saltwater rod. Highly recommend

I recently picked up a Diamondback Aeroflex 9’0 10 wt saltwater fly rod, paired with an Aeroflex 9/10 reel. Couldn’t be happier. The quality of craftsmanship, the feel is second to none. I highly recommend

Have been wanting a Diamondback for over a year, for a while the model I wanted was out of stock so I placed a call directly to the company and to my surprise received a call back from Joe stating when the model would be back in stock. Just received my 10’ 2wt rod , beautiful rod, great rod tube and rod sock included. Completely satisfied with my rod and experience dealing with the company. Thank you

If you have been hiding under a rock which I might not blame you and you have not got your hands on a Diamondback Rod , you are absolutely missing out. Fast recovery, sensitive rod tip and awesome design. From the 1wt up, simply amazing

Already caught a handful of trout with this rod on a tightline set up. Really nice feel and excellent strike detection- very happy with my purchase.

I have been waiting a little bit to write this review bc i wanted to spend some time with the Aero Flex 10f 3 w.
The Aero Flex series rods are amazing tools. There are many different models to tackle many different angling scenarios.
What I was looking for was a light weight rod that could cast a dry fly and also nymph. After speaking to Joe he confirmed that the 10 ft 3 w areo flex was designed for this purpose.
There are times where dedicated dry fly or nymphing rods are great. However I find myself most of the time only wanting to carry one rod. This is because I like to fish hard to reach places where the multi rod approach doesn't really work.
The 10 ft 3 w rod is really unique. Unlike other 3 w rods it tappers down to a strong well balanced butt section. What this translates into is a rod that can cast a dry fly line really well but has the sensitivity at the tip to nymph with. I paired the rod with a Sage Trout 4/5 reel which balanced the rod quiet well. This is important with longer rods so your wrists don't get tired. The line I was using was the SA Amplitude Trout.
On a trip in BC I fished that Elk River and Bull River for multiple days. The rod was sensitive enough to detect faint hits from small fish in fast rapids and it was also strong enough to fight a 17 in cutty that I was luck enough to hook up to.
The build quality is top notch. I am a huge fan of the full wells cork grip that comes on the rod. The shape of the Full wells in slightly different from what I have seen on some other rods. The front flare is slightly less than the rear. This allows for multiple hand placements and makes the rod feel really light in the hand. The quality of the cork is also top notch.
You can tell that a lot of thought gets put into these rods

I've been throwing smaller dungeons on a 7wt tactical long and it can cast sa sonar int/3/5 a country mile... The little extra length provides the right tip and taper to hook up stern on a fish and keep him pinned. And the lower portion of the rod really lifts sink line in one haul and shoot. This rod probably just retired my other 7wt. Nice job Joe 👍

The components and craftsmanship on this rod are top notch. The action is very smooth and it casts beautifully. I also have a 3 wt. 10 ft nymphing rod that I am very happy with.
